This is Why

"Why?"
 you ask
 when you don't see.

"because,"
 he says
 before he makes you believe.

I,
 the word
to show who my brain hates.

Love,
 his explanation
 for why he stays.

You,
 the one
 that kept me alive.

Now,
 the time
 that we have today.

Always,
 why
 we never say hate.

Forever,
 the reason
 we know we're okay.

"How can you deal with me?"
 "I don't deal with you,
 I am here
 because I love you."
And this is the reason that we both always stay.
