Why

Oh my dearest friend, time has graciously allowed us to meet again. How have you been? How are the kids? I hope life is treating you well. You have a question, you say, about our younger days? Go on, please do tell.

Yes it's true, we have done a lot together and have been there for each other. You sure have helped me in my times of need. This has actually been on my mind so I am glad you picked this time to ask me why.

Why did I ruin my clothes looking for your ring in the storm drain? Or the time we were roomates and I always let you dry your clothes first when we were wet from the rain. Why did I try and help you with your addiciton? Why have I always been just a phone call away? There are so many stories that I remember well, we could reminisce all day.

The answer is quite simple really, though I took some time finding it myself. You see, it all sums up in two simple facts. Because I love you and know you would do the same for me.

This is based off of a few conversations I have had with friends in the past and how I have learned to have a healthy, loving relationship with friends
