This Is Why...

Millions say writing is what saved them. Writing is all that they have. And I am one to stand up, and agree. Writing saved me from the dark hole my mind was creating when I had depression. Writing saved my life, and it wasn't easy. Sometimes I would just sit and look at an empty page, its not because I didn't know what to write, but because I didn't know where to start. My pen gave me a voice, and the paper had no judgment. I have cried, laughed, have gotten angry, and happy with what I have reread but Im glad I have it all on paper. Writing saved my life, I write so I won't die.
