but why.
I remember it like it was yesterday
The day I begged you to stay
Went on my knees to pray
Gave you my keys, stay!
I pleaded you to stay
I needed you again
Threw me away
Into pain.
You had showed me the way
Where to go and where to stay
You had glowed on me every day
Like the sun's enlightenening ray
You warmed me through the coldness of May
You weaned me with fondness from far away
You fell for me
When you picked me up
Where I had fallen.
You told me to hold on
You held me, stood me up
There was I stolen.
They kicked me down
You picked me up
They let me down
You got me up
They lied to me
You liked me
It was just lust.
It was lust at first sight
How robust,we felt that night
In disghust I could feel them looking
Like the rust we would eat them away.
As the dust flying blinding their view
'It is lust', they said, 'that you feel'
That lust only binds a chosen few
Unlike love which blinds the fool.
I sobbed in your arms which felt strong
You absorbed my pain into your heart making me long.
I throbbed releasing the hate I felt for so long
There I was laying on your chest
Your hand motioning to my breast
Blood rushed completing the rest
Our lips touched with sexual interest
In the same park we had been found by luck
And the love spark we could not resist
You did not even hesitate
There was nothing to distaste
This was not even incest
consumed by the zest
It was time to copulate.
Why so fast?
The lust
Will this last?
Sure
Found love at last.
The time it was a must.
Fueled by lust
Love is lust.
Now where are you Lover or should I call you Luster.
You have gone forever with my laughter
And taken words I utter
My heart's in shatter
Here at the altar
I greatly falter
'Father was it
Lust?'
