WHY

I wonder if my mom knows

that I don’t know who God is, or even if I believe in him

to me, god seems like an average white person

nice hair, skin is clear, and has power

And who the hell am I praying to?

a ghost that has been dead, but claimes living

I’ve been going to church since pre k so it’s crazy how I don’t know god

me a god have an odd relationship

he answers when I don’t need him

but when I’m begging my eyes to bring someone back

he isn’t there

So who am I praying too?

a false whisper of air who is well known.
