Why...

Why can't you just be happy be content
With who I am with what I am
And leave me be
Stop judging and constraining me
Within your chains of oppression
Which causes nothing but depression
So leave!
Stop!

Paragraph one.

Stop this nonsense
It does't make any sense
To extract my soul from myself
And reshape it into something I'm not
Something I can never be
Oh please can't you see
That you're stifling and killing me
So stop!

Paragraph one.

No you don't understand
Because you can't comprehend
My passion
And devotion
For this art of creation
So know this you:
You're not me and I'm not you!
That is why you'll never be able to see
That this is my destiny
My truth and reality
So stop! No more!

Paragraph one.

You tell me to put down my pen
To step out of my den
And to work like actual men
But that is not my life
It's not how I'll survive
So stay back!
Stop cursing me
Stop blaming me
Stop mocking me
Your failure isn't my mistake
And my success isn't yours to take
So stop! No more!

Paragraph one.

I can't handle this life anymore.
I need to write because it feels right
I need to create because it's something I cannot negate.
So it doesn't matter what you say
Nor how small it pay pay
My objective in life will never sway
And this is where I'll stay
So leave!

Paragraph one.
