Why?

Why did you leave? Your absence makes my heart grieve. I’m filled with anger and pain. I’m not important to you, to me, this is plain. A daughter deserves to see her father. But, to write me, you couldn’t even bother. Without an explanation, you left me. For you, I would never again, see. You left me empty and cold. All I have of you are the stories that are told. Why?

I am a novice poet that believes that the best poetry comes from your heart and emotions. I am a Norse Pagan who just so happens to be transgender and lesbian. I believe that the whole world is my muse and I get inspiration from everyone and everything that I come into contact with. Words are some of the most powerful things that we as humans posses and if used right; they can change the hearts of many. Art comes in many forms and poetry is one of them. So why not change the world with art, one word at a time?
