Why?

How could it all have gone so completely, utterly wrong?
How could my heart have shattered into a million pieces on the sight?

Why is my only sliver of hope in my dark world suddenly refusing to return?

I thought I wouldn't mind, but I do.

I thought I wouldn't care, but I do.

You've been with me all these years to cause me the most terrible heartbreak.

I'm trying my best to help you,

And I refuse to accept that you cannot be salvaged.
That all hope is lost.
That my everything is gone with the snap of a finger.
Why, why why?!

Why can I not describe how I'm feeling?

Why am I so helpless?
Why do the cruel hands of fate keep my string going?

Why?...

Life is cruel.

I shall never get back what I lost that day.
My life means nothing.

I am but a shard of a broken mirror. I was once beautiful, but I am now nothing.

I mean nothing.

My existence is futile.

I am like a lovely doll that has been burnt in a fire.

Damaged beyond repar.
The ones who once loved me scorn me now, and no one will ever love me again.
