why am I here?

Why am I here and not there? for I see not my emotion that leads me to care? is it in the mind or the heart or the love of one so fair? Though I may quiver, I pray hope shall deliver. My heart my soul and from where I was born should be more precious than silver. why am i here and not over there? shall i dare return home for love and grace? why is it when I think do I let tears stain my face? I wonder where? In the light or dark, no matter how far apart, in my heart, i cannot let them go, for in the final word I do care.
