Why Am I Here?

When I Look In The Mirror

And New Lines Appear,

I Ask Myself, Why Am I Here?

Three Years Ago

As I Lay Dying In Bed,

The Doctors All Thought

By Now I'd be Dead.

My Family Was There

Looking Somber And Sad,

How Could This All

Have Turned Out So Bad?

One Month Before

I Was Performing On Stage.

Not Looking Or Feeling

Even Close To My Age.

Three Years Have Passed

And I've Let Go Of The Fear.

But Still Search For The Answer,

WHY AM I HERE?
