why am i writing?

Writing again, here I am.  Watching the rain on my window.  Weather on a summer stormy night and I hope my power doesn't go off.  Woulnd't surprise me.  Wouldn't be the first time.  Will never forget that.  Windows 8 isn't all that it is cracked up to be, just saying.  Wish we lived in a world with no technology sometimes.  Would be like the olden days when people still wrote letters.  Wouldn't that be something.  Walking to put your letter in with a new, crisp envelope.  Waiting by the mailbox for a letter from your sweetheart.  Wincing everytime you got crap from your mother and father about the boy you shouldn't be interested in.  Wishing he would come home and sweep you off your feet.  White horse and all.  Why am I thinking about him?  Wanting him is not what I should be doing.  Whether I like it or not.  Writing distracts me.  Writing keeps my thoughts out of his path.  Writing will keep me sane.
