Why are we doing this?

Why are we doing this? Why can’t I sit in front of the bus with my friend? Are we too close to the driver? Why do we have separate drinking fountains? The one on the left has cooler water. Why are we going to different schools? Aren’t we all getting the same education? Why does that girl smile only at me but not for my friend? Did he just farted or something? Why does he say hi to my friend but not to me? Do I have an embarrassing zit on my forehead? Why can’t they look me in the eyes? Am I Medusa to them? Why can I enter but not my friend? Is it because he’s a little tanner? Why can’t we all be friends? Why are we not tolerating our unique differences? Why are we doing this?
