Why Bother?

Never called nobody father,

Why bother?

A title that comes with responsibiltity,

Can't just put it aside.

Have to be there

and help braid her hair.

Threaten the boys who stand outside,

teacher how to sway side to side.

Should chose to stay,

but said no way.

When you left, you took something from me.

I don't trust, Idon't love like I should.

Walls made of pain and anger.

Earn the title?

No, that chance is gone;

I'm gone.

Never called nobody father,

Why bother?
