Why bother?

Ecclesiastes 4:5 New English Translation (NET Bible)

The fool folds his hands and does no work,
so he has nothing to eat but his own flesh.

Why bother?

Let I try to be the norm of silly confrontation

Let I wave my flag made of my dirty underwear

Try to take me seriously in my constant degradation

I am first in the parade that was canceled somewhere

Folks just like me beating on a "purposeless" drum

Writing their own words to a tune stolen from others

History repeats by the born in a “spiritual”  slum

As greed is created for the “good” who didn’t bother

“To know how to do good and not do it”, is to eat and not swallow

You stuff yourself overfull until you puke without a sound

A skeleton you’ll be somehow with a heart completely hollow

That being a fool seems a blessing as you're downward bound
