Why Can't We Understand

One thing that makes me tick

Is the way people pick

Who they think is cool enough, smart enough, or who is fit

I am sick of hearing the mockery

Against everyone's poverty

Emotionally, physically, mentally

It's exhausting

It's much harder to hate

Then it is just to love

Stop putting people down

And deciding who you're above

Status doesn't matter

When you're alone with your thoughts

You can have an opinion

But words burn like chili sauce

Remember to think

Before you speak

Be true to your beliefs

If you don't want people to judge you

Then don't judge me

And don't you dare judge me
