Why Couldnt I Feel The Same?

you looked at me like i was everything you loved and i had never really noticed you spoke to me like i was more important than the stars in the sky and i never felt the same as you i cant say that i didnt love you but i never loved you like you loved me we told eachother about troubled times you spoke yours and id sometimes sing mine for you but we were never meant to be because i couldnt feel the same as you believed you did for me and now you cry because of me you told me how you feel with your eyes full of tears because you knew i didnt feel the same i know you dont blame me but i cant help but blame myself i know you dont hate me but ive always hated myself you always cheered me on in whatever id do and id do the same for you too i love you but itll always be as my dear friend and you say youre alright with it but are you really? i want you to be happy and if the only way for that to be is for you to abandon me and everything we have gone through then please just leave
