Why Did This Happen?
Why?
Why did this happen?
Why did this happen to me?
I kept my seat belt on, mom and dad.
I never drank beer at the party, mom and dad
I never drove home drunk, mom and dad.
I kept my hands at ten and two, so why?
Why did this happen?
I was just an innocent bystander.
I wasn’t even in their car!
So, why?
Why am I dead?
Why can’t I live the rest of my life, but they do?
Why am I paying for their drunken mistakes?
This could have been avoided if they didn’t drink and drive.
