Why did you?

Why did you Break me down? Why did you not ever love me for me? Why did you always try to shape me? Into something else? Why wasn't I enough? For you? I tried to be. I tried so hard Why is it that every time I tried to be what you wanted You threw me down like I was nothing? I'm sorry I'm sorry At least I was at one point Now, I'm not so sure You could never love me I said you could never love me I don't think you ever did And now I understand that So, please go away now I want to be alone Even if I didn't get the chance to ask Why did you
