Why did you hide?

Proverbs 16:3

3 Commit  your works to the Lord,
And your thoughts will be established.

Where have you been original thought? Why did you go in hiding?

You know that I need you to feel good about myself.

How often didn’t you bring unusual tidings,

that in time and space provided for things to tell?

Where were you hidden? Who triggered your return?

Is it of great importance to search for obstacles in self?

You know very deeply that my desire burns

for the enhancement of truth out of the living well.

You must be protecting me from my flesh that’s lurking

to get more attention and to be admired by the lot.

Yep! All the feelings that always keep on jerking

me into a form of detention or I like it or not.
