Why Did You Kiss Me?

Why did you kiss me?

The person I know the best

still til this day different from the rest

We talk, we laugh, we reminisce

We would be stuck like glue.

Leave each other, to be on the phone ten minutes later.

Yeah, those were the days

The best of friends they would call us.

Fast forward a little

Months go by

Would would not speak, but no worries

Our bond would never break

But here we are senior year, 12 years later.

Your love for music turned into something more

You push yourself

Just like me you're afraid to fail

Perfection is in our blood, but we know as of now we will never reach it

I wish you the best

Wishes of Success

Wishes of Peace

and Wishes of Fulfillment

Since we were young, my support has never left

Even after you questioned our friendship.

I scream I hate you even when I know i don't 'cause I can never tell you how I truly feel

So I keep quiet

Constantly fighting my emtions

Still til this day I ask the question

Why did you kiss me?
