Why Do I?

I write because I feel,

I write to rid the peel,

And see what's on the inside,

I write because I have time to bide,

I write because it empowers,

And I don't have to waste the hours,

I write to entertain,

And because it strengthens the brain,

I write because I love to,

It never makes me blue.
