Why Do I Write?.

It empowers me It relieves me It makes me think It gives me a headache It takes me to an imaginary world It's an escape from the real world It helps me vent to write It helps me mend to write I write what I think I write what feel I write because I want to I write because I am lucky enough to I can be whatever I want to be I can be a zebra, a balloon, or a cloud I can be a poem now I can later be a song I can be whatever I want As long as I express myself
