Why do I write?

I write

Not for those who won’t

But for those who can’t

I write

To voice the opinion

That is suppressed

I write

For those who really need it

And those who aren't afraid to read it

I write

Because its the only way to express myself

And so my emotions aren't just put away on a shelf

I write

For the kid who never wanted anymore

Than for living another day to not be a tiresome chore.

I write

Not because I need to

But because I have to
