Why Do I Write?

When a young girl is depressed, she feels alone and weary. 

Some try to help, but she does not want it.

She thinks to herself, "Nobody knows how it feels to be in this condition, so why should I ask for help?"

She  has nobody to speak to when she's feeling down,

she feels like nobody cares.

But when she picks up a pencil and holds it in her weak hand,

she feels something different. 

One quickly runs for a blank sheet of paper.

"Where do I start," she thinks to herself. 

That is when she mutes out the world,

and she puts her mind on that once  blank piece of paper. 

She fills up one sheat,

Then the next,

Then an hour later she's filled up five pieces of paper.

She suddently get's writer's block and decides to take a break.

Her hand feels stronger from writing so many different ideas.

She feels different.

She feels as if she's better.

Sense that day, she's filled up more than 1,000 pages of her life and how she feels.

And to this day, she's one of the happiest people you could ever meet.

So why do I write poetry or stories?

I write because one blank sheet of paper, could change a life forever.
