Why Do I Write

Why Do I Write? Do I write to escape the world? when my pen hits the paper am I no longer this lonely girl? Do I become this girl who isn't afraid to be free Do I become this girl who will defeat all the problems of the world? Why Do I Write? Do I write to escape a physical disability that won't go away? Which I'm reminded of this everyday. Do I pray and pray that this will disappear? So i won't have to live in fear.. Fear that no one will love me for me or look past this disability. Why Do I Write? Do I write to build up my confidence? Everybody in the world needs confidence. Yes it may seem like that's what i have but nobody knows what i have.. not even me Do I write to build up my self esteem? Why Do I Write? I actually don't know why I write.
