Why Do We All Want to go to College?

Why do we all want to go to college?

We're forced to leave our home

Our friends and parents

And go somewhere we've never been

With people we've never met

To take classes that cost thousands of dollars

And to live in dorms with other strangers

So why on Earth do we want to go to college?

The simple answer is to better ourselves

To make our lives as good as they can be

To get jobs that will make us happy and stable in life

The process is expensive and scary

There's pressure we've never felt before

But it's an experience so many of us go through

That hopefully when we go to college,

It won't seem so bad
