Why Do We Hurt Each Other

It`s like a never ending cycle and who`s to say where it started. I hurt you, you hurt me, no one is happy, just broken hearted. Maybe it was the rumors or maybe the lies, That can`t be fixed if only one of us tries. It`s all fun and games till one of us breaks Is it worth the trust your dishonesty takes? We were both attempting to find some happiness, Which seemed to come to the ones that care less. But things could be better, better than we care to know. But don`t expect me to be the first to let it show, `Cause honestly I`m just as broken as you. This takes more than effort from one, but two.

MVP-Most Valuable Poet
people treat each other badly because of what was taught at home, what is learned in the community, a cycle that hasn't been broke, etc break that cycle by speaking for yourself great job in reflecting yor thoughts behind this poem
