Why do we love?
Why do we love if only to be hurt in the end? Do we like to take the risk and see where the leaf blows amongst the wild wind? Sometimes I sit alone and look to the sky and wonder, how long must I take the pain before I surrender. The pain of love grows by day, but were too foolish to close it out because we love the play. The play of our heart, the play of our minds, when will it be enough, who knows when the bluff is up in the eyes of our lover. Games we play , only to be shattered like glass in the old fools past. But , we eventually learn to love ourselves and not play the games of ones untold spells. Love thyself and grow a far ways, or be stricken with love with no ends to meet upon.....
Why do we love?
