Why do you have to go?

Why do you have to go?

Why do you have to leave me in this place alone ?

I watch you walk away and all I can do is pray that you'll turn around.

But you didn't , your foot steps became a far away sound.

When you left you took apart of me I'll never get back.

Now that time has passed that part of me isn't something I lack.

I have become anew.

And suddenly I realize I never needed you.
