Why Does Gender Matter?

The blunt truth is, for most of us, it fits

A social construct is all the natter

Meaning it’s definition changes and shifts

However, it is not all that matters

As long as we can respect each other

Respect the names we want to be called

Respect our pronouns

We should not be unequalled

Gender is like unlimitless bounds

We think it is a specific definition

That is our societal slowdown

The problem is natural intuition

If everyone was thought of as equal

That would help mend many major issues

In the US,discrimination is now illegal

however, gender bias continues
