Why Does It Hurt?
It never made sense.
Looking at him hurt.
To me he was perfection.
Why?
Why, of all the crazy random happenstances in our lives, was it him?
I wanted him.
I wanted to spend time with him,
hear his pointless stories,
hear about his day,
spend hours together saying nothing,
just being together,
but instead....
I got lonely nights,
an empty pit of a heart,
and plenty of time to really feel the pain.
Why?
Because If it weren't so intense,
If it didn't constantly jerk my tear ducts,
If I could have walked away without the blood curdling pain,
It wouldn't have been love,
And that's why...
Becuase love quickens all sense except common and everyone knows that,
unless of couse they too are in love.
