Why dont you listen
why dont you listen
why
why do you lie to yourself, to us, to them
what in this world beat you into mute hatefulness
who stole your faith, your hope, your joy
your life is not a life, it is a lie, it is worse than death
at least death hides not its true nature
at least the kiss of eternity unabashedly ends our suffering, and our hope
you know nothing of life, you have not lived
why then, why, why, why do you reject hope
why are you numb to any aspirations of happiness
you believe that this earth is damned, in a way
you believe that nothing and everything is deceiving
that no point lies in trying to pursue the beautiful
as such, you do not even really believe
you sit, in your nothingness
you speak from a pit of cynicism and contempt
painting beauty with filthy ambiguity and disguising your voice with cold rationale
I do not need you
any of you and your desolate empty souls
gather the masses, i shall march on
progress demands that our generation and our waywardness be freed from you
