Why Haven't I?

Inquisitive when caged And indifferent outside a debt Why haven't I taken over the world yet? Thrashing madly on a stage Without an audience, a band, or set Why havent I taken over the world yet? The world is grim The world's a lie Just look at him Look at that guy He stands on fire In a suit and tie Someone else gets higher Someone else asks why Vindictive in her grave An old vendetta robs her rest Why hasn't she learned to raise her kids yet? Standoffish you remain Like an unforgiving pet Why havent you learned to embrace your end yet?
