Why is heartbreak all I've known?

Year after year

day after day

I suffer from pain People yelling, criticizing

who I am as a person

causing me heartbreak

Why is heartbreak all I've known?

I've dreamed to find someone

who'll accept me

I've dreamt about the Sun shining on me for once

No more storms in my direction...

But that is all a dream

While as in reality, its nothing but dark clouds,

and harsh freezing winds blowing in my face

Having to deal with pain in my chest all my life

A sword only digging deeper, and deeper

making a huge wound that will never heal...

Despite my screams and cries no one listens

Instead, the sword sinks in deeper each minute of the day.

This agony is all I've ever felt,

all I've ever known

Maybe there really isn't a world without pain

Maybe...this is how it'll always will be....
