Why I do not like Valentine’s Day

Valentine’s Day for me is something I have always dread. Having no one to be with brings me much stress and pain not my head, but in my heart. I have always wondered what it would be like to have a partner to lean on. But for now, I am seen all alone. I see the decorations in the mall, gifts that I could see myself giving to someone else. Am I too nice? Am I too ugly? Am I no fun? These are questions that come about when I get denied. I am not writing this to make you sad. This is what I think of and feel about Valentines Day. Hopefully one day this will change. This might not be tomorrow or next week, but sometime in my future. I want to be happy with someone and feel loved, but for now it me, myself, and I.
