Why I do what I do?

It’s not for attention, it’s not for respect.

It’s for me, I need to speak my silence

I am tired of hiding how I feel,

You constantly think you know,

But honestly I just need to heal

All on my own.

I do it because it makes me happy

I am not judge, I am not feeling crappy.

I do it because it’s comforting,

It’s better than speaking.

Listen to the words upon this page.

Do you understand that I am calling out to you?

I am scared of you.

I am scared you won’t understand.

But hopefully you will see,

I do it because it’s a part of me.

I do it so you can see.

Tell me do you see now?

Why I do what I do?

I do it because of you.
