Why I Left

Who the hell do you think you are?

I defended you

I stood by you

I helped you

I loved you

And the second that you found out that I was not this perfect barbie doll

You laughed, you made fun of me, you spread rumors

And you never let me know!

I went blind, lost my eyesight, I was in pain

And you used that against me

The worst parts of myself- the pieces I wish I could change

You listed as reasons why I was never going to be good enough for you

I stood up for you when my friends said you weren't smart enough

I stood by you when you struggled

And what did you do?

You laughed!

You joined in!

You stabbed me in the back as you kissed my lips.

You lived off of the tears you caused!

I'm DONE!

I'm done missing you

I'm done feeling sorry for you!

I am done loving you

You are nothing!

And you never were.
