Why I love to Write

When I felt like I couldn't go on I would sit down and write a song It helped me say what I couldn't say It gave me the courage to move on to another day My special way of dealing with pain Was using poetry to block out the world That was so cruel to this young little girl Without It I wouldn't have gained A sense of pride that goes on today I found something I was good at Something that no one could ever take away My love for poetry is unbreakable the feeling that I have when I write is unforgettable Poetry has changed my life And that is why I love to write
