Why I NEED to Change the World

My future is an apocalypse

an accident waiting to happen

and I would rather die

Before it has the chance to kill me

My future is oppression

A monster I'm afraid of

Because I'm not sure

if I can fight it

not sure which I'm feeling more:

homicidal or suicidal

This world is ruled by humans

Who've lost their humanity

because when they see you

all they see is numbers, and colours and quantities

They tell you its right because its the law

But they're the ones that make the law

these judges sure ain't impartial

my body is a number, but my face has a name

But that only matters in birth, death, and fame

Everything has strings attached

To puppet masters with nothing beneath their masks

So here i stand at the end of the line

like a fish expelled from her pond

Gasping for the oxygen I require

despite the fact that I'm drowning in it
