Why I shed Tears?

I shed tears when I came out I shed tears when I was hungry I shed tears when I fell down I shed tears when I scraped my knee, falling off my bike I shed tears when my parents left me with a stranger I shed tears when the kids made fun of me I shed tears when they called me names I shed tears when I moved to the next grade, grateful I had learned I shed tears when I moved I shed tears when I lost my friends I shed tears when the teens bullied me I shed tears when I failed a test, fearful of my future I shed tears when I asked her out I shed tears when we watched a movie I shed tears when we danced I shed tears when she dumped me, lonely and alone I shed tears when I was healed by her kindness I shed tears when she told me she loved me We shed tears when we went away to learn We shed tears when we talked on the phone, joyful we still cared We shed tears when we graduated We shed tears when we met again We shed tears when we moved in together We shed tears when I asked her to marry me, happy to be united We shed tears when she said yes We shed tears when we said forever We shed tears when we became three We shed tears when three didn’t make it, destroyed by a loss We shed tears when we got another chance We shed tears when she came out We shed tears when said her name for the first time We shed tears when she walked, prideful in her start We shed tears when we laughed We shed tears when my mother died We shed tears when my girl learned to ride a bike We shed tears when we sent her to learn from a stranger, tearful we did our best We shed tears when she went to a sleep over We shed tears when she came back smiling We shed tears when she moved up We shed tears when she got a boyfriend, knowing she was growing up We shed tears when he left her We shed tears when she showed up drunk We all shed tears the next day We shed tears when she promised to change, promising to give life her all We shed tears when she was accepted We shed tears when she graduated We shed tears when she moved away We shed tears when she called, saying she missed us We shed tears when she said she was a Dr. We shed tears when she met her match We shed tears when they joined forever We shed tears over our prodigy, gleeful we succeeded as parents We shed tears as we hit fifty We shed tears when I retired We shed tears for my wife as well We shed tears for tragedy, the loss of life unchecked We shed tears when my love got cancer We shed tears while she was in pain We shed tears as struggled onward I shed my tears as fell asleep, knowing I would join her soon I shed tears when we lowered her I shed tears when she was missing from my side I shed tears when I forgot her I shed tears when I learned my fate, cancer the same as her I shed tears as I was bedridden I shed tears when they visited I shed tears when he asked “What’s wrong Grandpa?” I shed tears when I said his name I shed tears one final time, sleep my only fate They shed tears when I died, only memories in my wake They shed tears over my casket, at the funeral and at my grave They shed tears as they buried me, but my by my wife I was finally saved I shed tears when I saw her face again, as beautiful as the day I first saw The world sheds tears again, as spring arrives from thaw I shed tears for good and bad My tears, My life, My love
