Why I sleep on the floor

Why do i sleep on the floor?
It offers all it has, and promises nothing more
it doesn’t offer to treat an ache,
and it doesn’t come with an option of memory foam,
It doesn’t change itself to fit what it thinks i need,
and it doesn’t wear down when i get too heavy,
the floor is bare, honest, open,
It presents everything it has.
And when my body is sore,
from a bed that should have remembered every curve,
and accepted every flaw,
the floor heals it all.
