Why I Smile

I smile because you asked me to;

Because you took these lips, always upside down,

gave them a tweak and turned them right side around.

Because I’m no longer alone; I have no need to cry.

I’m with you, and you’re with me.

For now I truly see, we are meant to be.

This is why I smile.
