Why I Write
I live to die, and die to live
I sacrifice time, tears, sweat
And I write
My back hurts, fingers shot
Crying, sighing, typing away
And I write
There’s pain, no gain
Time to spend,
Nothing in return, so I write
To live, to laugh, to cry
I write.
And I write.
Feelings, emotions, captured in time
This is the work that I do
