Why I write

I write to say what's on my mind I write to make my day A good one and leave bad things behind So things will go my way. I write to make others smile To see one person glad So people can once in a while Forget why they were sad. I write to ease frustration and pain Of everyday teenage life So calmness is what I can gain Be gone unhappiness and strife! I write to record my ideas, Beliefs and things I've seen, Memories and future goals The present and what has been. I write because I love it Like so many others do I write to bring myself joy And to bring joy to you.
