Why I Write
Why I write is not simply explained
it is not grasped by the brain
or can be simply ascertained
no, I write for order and stability
for it explains my fleeting success
and my growing humility
humility that only my words can explain
as I stand against the rain
that fills into a river
standing against the pull of the current
and striking down with piercing waves that only my words can deliver
and endless and restless flow that stops the hands of time
flips it and reveals to you the hidden message of success underneath the pretty lies
what you reveal as justified society denies
there is no reason to the rime
I write for a better life
if I told you it was easy I would be lying
with my reason dying and as much as im trying
the down time I have is spent crying
angry silence yet non violent
