Why I Write

Life is about power. The ebb and the flow, those that come and those who go, We all have power inside, but never enough to feel happy when we go to sleep at night. We search for a way to feel confident, to feel safe, in this crazy world where more often than not, we are just a number. I write to feel that power, and like many others, to release that which I harbor within. I write to express, to create, to see the words line up oh-so perfectly on a vacant page. I write for the power and the knowledge and the release. I write because I can, and because if I did not, I might not be here at all.
