Why I Write
I write to touch the heavens.
I write to touch the world.
I write to embark on a journey within the paper.
I write so the air will lift me up and take me everywhere.
I write to explore the unexplored.
I write to discover the undiscovered.
I write to find new beginnings, middles, and ends.
I write to make precious words come to life.
I write to bring alive the unseen, the untouched, the unknown.
I write to be free.
I write to feel emotion.
I write for anyone and everyone.
I write because I can.
Because I have the right to write.
