Why I Write?
I write to release emotions.
To you and everyone else I can't say them to.
I write to clear my mind of the hurt and pain.
The anger I have.
I learn to not hold a grudge.
I write to give myself something to look forward to.
Something to hope for.
I write to give these creative letters to you grandma.
Emotions piled up.
Tears embedded on the paper.
Tears in the screen of my phone.
Tears which know how I feel.
I write so I don't cry.
So I don't hurt.
But so I feel better.

I have been writing poetry since I was around ten and love it. It helps me to vent and say things on paper that I cannot say out loud. Over the years, I have developed my writing even more and have been published twice in books. I am currently working on my own poetry book which will definitly include poems, and narratives (personal) that I have written in my senior Enlgish class.
