Why I Write

Why I write? I write to take that flight away from fright To release the inner hurt and unrevealed dirt To make a difference and live life without a fence Alone in a world full of pain, I try to live in vain Misunderstood and seeking understanding, I wonder if anyone can see me here standing? So why I write? I write so you can see through me, so you can see more than me, the me that even I have yet to see I write to understand the world and I write to prevent confusion Disassemble groups and make us one Together we make more damage than a gun And I don't understand why with this we think we have won I write for you and I write for myself but who sees this? I'm small like an elf
