Why I Write

Writing and reading has always been a part of me since I was in kindergarden. Even though at time it got hard and I thought I couldn't keep having English as a major thing in my life Poetry and writing books soon made life alright, even when it felt that people wanted to stab me with a knife. I use writing as a escape It's like my pencil and paper has a cape, Rescuing me from the bad Keeping me from going mad. Poetry keeps me on the ground It keeps me from floating around It helps me connect with people that I didn't usually talk to It gave me an entirely different view.
